Do you ever sit around and think about starting your own business, or just a cool product? I know I do. I dreamt up a sock company that only does larger sizing (12 and up) You will see in my sketches
that I went through quite a few names for the company, but I finally settled on XLSX
(extra large socks).
I chose Larger size socks for the company, solely because I find it is very hard to find any socks lager than size 12 in the marketplace and when I do find an purchase them, they simply do not remain that size when washed and become tight and uncomfortable.
I designed a 1 pack hanger, a 2 pack box, and a 3 pack canister or tube.

the PROCESS
The madness unfolds.
I started with the idea of big feet... into Bigfoot branding. This led to a funner Dr. Bigfoot Branding, then into Dr. Trotters big ol' socks then into LRG Socks and finally to XLSX.
FURTHER PLANNING
I decided the cool thing would be to have front of my box will be a die cut logo so the socks can be seen. The back will have composition
and care info. The sides will have size and quantities. And the inner will be a pattern made up of
the Logos parts. this branding will carry on throughout the cylindrical canister and the hang sleeve.

There is nothing more fun than taking all your planning and work and finally being able to visualise it in the real world through the magic of mock ups.
